On Thursday, November 29, 2018, Taproot Kitchen catered an event for The Sustainable Communities Collaborative from Penn State. The Campus and Community sustainability Expo takes place at the end of each semester. The Collaborative hosts PSU student teams, community partners and the general public to view student projects at the State College Borough building.
The event was held from 4:30 – 6:30. Light refreshments and beverages were prepared and served by the Taproot Kitchen staff. Among the offerings were flatbreads with kale and roasted garlic, eggplant dip and hummus with pita squares, salsas with tortilla chips, and pomegranate dip with apples, grapes and crostini. Dessert trays of carrot cake, lime bars, nut bars, chocolate biscottis, and homemade apple tarts were enjoyed by the guests.
